As an Engage Analyst, you help to support the implementation of complex engagement projects, lead the implementation of smaller or less complex engagement projects, collect and report on engagement data, and identify and implement Engage tools and process efficiencies. Primary duties include:

  • Develop and implement engagement tactics or logistical tasks in support of complex projects that are being led by Engage Planners.
  • Develop and implement engagement plans for smaller or less complex engagement projects.
  • Collect, ensure accuracy and consistency, report and disseminate Engage data relating to subjects such as best practices, engagement activities, intake and projects.
  • Recommend improvements to documentation and processes to improve service efficiencies.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Engage portal including working with vendors and other Customer Service and Communications (CSC) staff to address technical problems, ensure content is accurate and consistent and provide orientation/information to CSC staff on how to use the portal and related tools.
 
Qualifications 
  • A completed 2-year diploma in Communications, Public Engagement, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Community Development, Planning, Public Policy or a related discipline and at least 6 years of experience in a related field; OR
  • A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Community Development, Planning, Public Policy or a related discipline and at least 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience public engagement or engagement with interested parties is preferred.
  • Success in this position requires excellent communication, problem solving and well-developed organizational skills.

Compensation: Pay Grade 9 $37.79 - 50.55 per hour 
Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day 
work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle. 
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
